We are Joey and Gia

Our names are Joey and Gia and we sometimes go by Travel.Adventure.Life. 

Joey – I am a native Arkansan, born in the little town of Gurdon, AR.  I graduated and work in Conway, AR where I currently serve as a School Resource Officer for the City of Conway and for my Alma Mater of Conway Public Schools.  I am an avid off-road/outdoor enthusiast, hiker, bikepacker, backpacker, motorcycle rider, and podcaster. The BROfessor’s outdoor adventures began back in the late 1980’s when my friends and I would take his Suzuki Samurai out adventuring each weekend.  Today, on any given day, you can find me riding the backroads on my Adventure Bike, Bikepacking, Backpacking, or down some trail in the FJ Cruiser.  I keep a log of my adventures through my Instagram @brofessoradventures , my radio show/podcast “THE Overland Podcast” and through my BLOG.

Gia – I am an Army brat born in Germany and settling in AR.  I finished my schooling in Rogers, AR and at the small Christian University called John Brown University.  After receiving my Master’s Degree, I began my career in teaching and now teaching at the same school as Joey in Conway.  I have always loved the outdoors and have served in outdoor ministries.  Some of my family is in South Haven, MI so you will see us going there often as well as on a farm in Paducah, Kentucky to see my sister and family.

We met in 2022 when a mutual friend of ours introduced us.  We hit it off and started traveling, off-roading, Overlanding and backpacking together.  We did not wait long to tie the knot and June of 2023 could not have come sooner.  We haven’t looked back and have done so many adventures together, even starting our own podcast together to talk about our travels, adventures and life named accordingly.
